For white-sand beaches
A town built around a sheltered stretch of sand located along Lanzarote’s southern coast, Playa Blanca holidays are centred around its beautiful golden sands. Here you’ll find horseshoe shaped coves sheltered by rugged cliffs, a cosmopolitan marina, and long beaches backed by lively bars, restaurants, and tavernas. It’s ideal for couples, families, and small groups wanting to immerse themselves in the town’s lively atmosphere and pretty surroundings.
Food lovers will find plenty for them along the promenade, where you’ll find little restaurants serving up the catch of the day. Choose from Canarian favourites like seafood platters, fresh salads, vegetables, and excellent stews. Wash this down with fine wines from some of Lanzarote’s best vineyards, as well as some international bottles, cocktails, and champagnes. Walk further into Playa Blanca for a further selection of restaurants, lively bars, and shopping centres selling international brands and local boutique designers.

Hotel porters and maids will appreciate a small tip, and while taxi drivers don’t require a tip, it’s common to round up the fare.
The official language of Spain is Spanish. English is widely spoken too, so getting by is easy.
