Beautiful beach resort close to Mykonos Town
Agios Ioannis lies on the fringes of the capital Mykonos Town, and is ideal for immersing yourself in village life while surrounded by stunning natural sights. The pale white sands make this the perfect place for beach lovers wanting to find their own little stretch, while those wanting to try watersports will find plenty on offer here. Behind the beach are emerald green hills perfect for explorers, hikers, and mountain bikers.
The quiet little village is the perfect place to soak up famously excellent Greek cuisine and hospitality. There are little tavernas and restaurants dotted throughout, serving up creamy dips, fresh local seafood, freshly picked olives, and fine local wines. If you want to explore the coastline, rent a car, and drive along the coastal road from where you can see spectacular beaches and small fishing villages. Further inland there are monasteries and small farming communities where you can really explore island culture.
Holidays in Agios Ioannis are all about the opportunities to relax. Its beautiful surroundings make it a picture perfect holiday destination, while the crystal clear waters of the sea are ideal for a cooling dip. Book boat trips and enjoy a day of exploring as your private driver takes you to little coves where you can stop for a snorkel or enjoy a traditional Greek picnic.
