Glitz and glamour meets natural grandeur
Capri holidays offer the charm of the great outdoors blended with a touch of blend of luxurious shopping. Located on the southern side of the Gulf of Naples, this island has been a favoured holiday spot since the Roman Republic era, with its main town sharing the same name. Just off the Sorrentine Peninsula, Capri features two harborus: Marina Grande and Marina Piccola. Couples can enjoy stress-free strolls through winding streets, while adventurers can visit the renowned Blue Grotto sea cave or take a traditional chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro for stunning island views.
Inhabited since the Palaeolithic era, Capri has been home to Caesar Augustus and his successor Tiberius, both of whom built villas that remain open to visitors today. The island continues to attract royalty and celebrities, with a plethora of designer fashion brands lining its opulent streets. Alongside its breathtaking landscape, Capri is also known for handmade leather sandals and limoncello, offering ample opportunities to immerse yourself in the unique culture of this exceptional Italian destination.
